TRACK FEES
As of Tuesday October 1st the payment of track fees is to change.
Sporting Edge is now charging the club an annual fee for use of the track which means the club now has to recoup that fee from athletes, rather than athletes buy a ticket from reception.
It was agreed at the club’s AGM on Friday, that as of 1st October, a casual user of the track (all categories) will now be charged £3 per session.
Regular users can however purchase a 3 month permit (or multiples of) at a cost of £25 which works out at £1 per session for those attending twice a week. However, permits can only be bought at the start of any month.
The second or subsequent member of a family will be charged half price.
Students of the university who have purchased a Team Edge Hill card will be allowed to train with the club without an additional payment
All payments will be collected on club nights in the foyer area of Sporting Edge.
MEMBERSHIP 2013-14
Club membership (all categories) has been fixed at £30 for the season 2013-14.
Membership commences on 1st October.
This year the affiliation fee the club paid to English Athletics for each individual athlete was increased from £5 to £10 and the club absorbed this increase. Unfortunately, we are unable to continue doing so.
As with the track fees, the second or subsequent member of a family will be charged half price ie.£15
