Mixed fortunes at AAA U/20 indoor (24-02-01)
Phil TaylorThe weekend of 24th and 25th February saw the Club participate in the AAA U20 Indoor Championships at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham.  There were mixed fortunes for the boys with the U17 sprinters Danny Holland, Paul Edwards and John Murray not progressing beyond the heats of the 60metres.  However, Michael Zaim achieved another personal best in the U20 200 metres by reaching the semi-final in 22.64secs.  He missed the final by a whisker. There was disappointment for Phil Taylor who qualified fastest for the U17 400metres final only to be disqualified in the final after finishing second in under 50 seconds.
