Five LPS athletes have been selected to represent their respective counties at the English Schools Track & Field championships taking place next Friday & Saturday(July 11/12th) at the Alexander stadium in Birmingham.
Rosie Johnson 1,500m (Merseyside) will be looking to retain her Intermediate Girls title, whilst Joe Milton(Merseyside), also a winner last year, moves up an age group (Intermediate Boys) and a distance (400m).Also representing Merseyside is Dan Slater (Junior Boys)who competes in the 1500m.
A former title holder in the high jump, Amelia Jennings-McLaughlin (Senior Girls)will be competing for Greater Manchester, whilst Morgan Greaves Thomas (Intermediate Boys) represents Lancashire in the 100m.
