The club records, along with all the various road-running lists and all round rankings, will continue to be hosted on :

As yet we have not been able to find a way of presenting these complex tables in a similar fashion on this site.

Jade Murphy adds a fantastic 5 cm to the under 13 ladies high jump record; one that had stood to Linda Wong for over 30 years !

A superb effort, well done.

*** Update 27-07-2013.***

Many significant changes since, possibly, LPS’ best ever English Schools Championships.

Pride of place must go to Rosie Johnson who has taken, and improved again, the Senior Ladies 1500m record despite still being only 15 years old. She is our second best all-round middle distance runner of all time.

Joseph Milton has also set new U15 marks for the 200m & 300m, the latter in becoming the English Schools champion.

Morgan Greaves-Thomas has matched the U15 100m record while Lauren Lewis has done the same to the U13 girls mark.

Lucy Staunton-Turner has added the U15 javelin record to her U13 mark.

Six times AAA’s 800m champion Michael Rimmer has matched the club 1 mile record.

Hammer throwers Rachel Hutchinson & Gary Ireland have both moved up the 5 Deep listings.

Mark Line has improved the vets O50 javelin record with an 800gm spear.

Finally, as always with these updates, it’s impossible to keep out Kirsty Longley who set a new vets O35 record for the 5000m.

It’s been a great Summer … and it’s not finished yet !

*** Update 09-05-2013.***

Lauren Lewis equals our long-standing U13 100m record.

Matt Thompson takes the vets over 40 800m record from Nathan Vengdasalam; a classy scalp to claim.

Kirsty Longley improves the senior ladies 5 mile road record … as an over 35 vet !

Michael Rimmer has set new marks indoors over 600m, 800m and 1000m. A sign of a better season ahead ?

John Dobie sets two vets over 65 records for 5 km road and the half-marathon. He also holds the mens over 45 triple jump record !!!

There will be further updates to road racing and all-round lists over the weekend after a flood of improvements last weekend.

*** Update 06-12-2012.***

Ruth Doran moves up to third all time LPS shot putter, and into the top 20 UK juniors, with 11.50m indoors at Gateshead. University life clearly agrees with her !

Kirsty Longley posts a new senior ladies record for the 10km road at Leeds in November.

*** Update 16-11-2012.***

Mark Line sets new Veterans Over 50 records in the javelin and discus.

Kirsty Longley posts new marks for the Veterans Over 35 1500m and mile.

I’m sure there will be far more to come from both of these athletes in the coming years.

*** Update 02-09-2012.***

Lucy Staunton-Turner sets a new U13 ladies javelin record and moves to #3 on the UK lists.

Alex McSweeney sets a new U15 mens javelin record and moves to #13 on the UK lists.

Harry Doran posts a sub-1:50 800m to become the second fastest LPS runner after Michael Rimmer.

Harry Doran also posts a sub-22 second 200m clocking to join a select group of sprinters.

Chloe Wood joins the top 5 lady pole vaulters following the last Northern league match.
