LPS had 3 people represent Northern Masters on a warm and breezy day at the EAMA Outdoor Inter Area T&F Challenge a Solihull on 17th July 2016.
First up was Clare Constable who won 400m inthe W35-50 category in 62.44 to earn maximum points and her fastest run in 8 years too. Next was Dave Brown who was 2nd in the M50-60 javelin with a SB of 39.04. Sammy Rashid ran the 3000m in the M35-50 category (as there were none of that age in the North that were able to run!) and finished 6th out of 7 in a SW of 10.08.61. I also was in the 4×100 M50-60 team (that included a couple of over 60s) which was about 20 mins after the 3k, predictably we were 7th out of 7 in 1-03.72.
The North finished 5th out of 8 regions both in the men and women’s events (and overall too).
