Running in the very popular Sale Sizzler 5k on 16th august Lisa Gawthorne claimed a new pb with a time of 18.49. This was enough to see her finish 5th female and second V/35.
Over in Spain whilst on a family holiday Helen Sahgal won the 7.4k XIV Cursa Nocturna Ronda Murada Alcúdia which was held in Alcúdia Mallorca. In very humid conditions Helen won by 6 seconds, the competition was fierce and there was only 16 seconds separating the podium ladies.
