Mid Lancs Cross Country Season Closes

The final cross country of the season was at Townley Park, Burnley today, where we had a small number of athletes competing.

Ten years old William Roberts finished his debut season with a flourish as he came home in 6th place, only a few seconds behind the leading pack in the u11 race.

Dan Berry, in the U13 boys event finished mid way and sets a good benchmark for progress.

James Read continues to impress and improve as he finished in 5th place in the u17 men. James has been consistently strong over the last half of the season and I’m sure he’s looking to build on this impetus into the track and road season.

Our only senior representative, Chris Melling, finished in 24th place of 159 starters – again continuing the strong performances shown throughout this season.

A full set of provisional results can be found here.
