Lauren Lewis made the long trip to Sheffield to compete in their open meeting. The U15 topped the Long Jump group with a good 4.98m and ran the 60m in 8.26.
* Travelling even further Adam Jones(20) and Ryan Treanor (55) represented their school Ormskirk in the English Schools Cup at Bedford. The team was a respectable 10th in tough company.
* Mark Wynne ran an amazing 16.23 in the Halewood 5K topping the senior lists for the year. He is doing a fine captain`s job. John Halson was on 20.14
