Lauren so close to Gold!
The Girls U/15 Long Jump Final had no fewer than 3 LPS girls competing for medals. Sadie McNulty (11th-4m.64) and Erin Birchall (8th- 4m.79) competing well again . Lauren Lewis just missed out on the Gold with her PB of 5 metres 20 ,falling just 1cm short of the winner, after several near misses and no jumps recently, her confidence will be sky high now1
In the the Boys U/17 Long Jump final Matt Ingram put a good series of jumps together and was rewarded with a 6 metre 36 jump to take the Bronze medal.
Following on from his Inter-County success, Kai Finch proved to be a class apart in the U/17 High Jump as he once again jumped 2 Metres to take the Gold.
In the Girls U/15 High Jump final , Imogen Ayres (6th 1 metre.40) and Sadie McNulty (4th- 1 metre.50) were also in action in a very competitive high jump competition, well done.
