There was a pre-Christmas outing for LPS track and field athletes at the Sale Harriers Open Meeting at Sport City. Harry Doran`s 600m in 1.18.47 immediately caught the eye with Sean Bosman on 1.22.87. As usual Dave McComb`s enthusiastic band of High Jumpers were there led by Billy Williams(1.85m) and Kai Finch(1.65m). Owen Southern went over 1.50m and Sadie McNulty 1.40m. Sadie combined this with 60m(9.46) and a Long Jump of 4.16m. Evelyn Smalley also long jumped 4.12m.
