Four LPS athletes took on the challenge of the gruelling series of 6 races that make up the Tour of Merseyside. From a 5 mile Raging Bull race, a 6 mile cross country race in Knowsley, a 5.9 mile race in Thurstaton, a Sustrans 10 miler, a 12 mile trek on the Wirral coast to the finale at the Southport half marathon.
Emerging in 18th place was Danny Gilbody (5:50.3), followed by Vicky Jones 45th (6:21.17), Steve Lennon 47th (6:24.35)and Lauren Wilson 70th (6:47.29).Vicky finished 2nd lady overall with Lauren in 4th place
