Hope Kennedy travelled to Spenborough in Yorkshire to compete in her first track & field meeting of the season. The 14 year old from
Ormskirk took part in the Sheila Bolland Memorial Meeting and it was well worth the journey. Hope won the under 15 girl’s javelin with a
throw of 26.55 metres, slightly below her best ever throw.
