Sammy Rashid’s stunning form has caught the eye of the England selectors for the British Masters 050 Cross Country Championships in Dublin. He is a travelling reserve but is likely to get some sort of race no matter what in the open event. An England vest at 50 is an appropriate reward for a lifetime of quality level running.
Kirsty Longley received a similar call for the Women’s 035 event but is unsure of her availability due to family commitments.
