Three LPS athletes competed in the London Marathon with distinction. Cambridge University student, Dan Slater, ran an astonishing debut time of 2.36.56 and loved the experience. After being plagued by 18 months of injuries Sammy Rashid, now approaching 55, also recorded an amazing 3.07.16, automatically qualifying for next years event. Danny Gilbody another delighted participant achieved a personal best time of 3.24.30. Looks like they will all be back in 2020!
