The Harrock Hill race series started again on wednesday with a good turn out from LP&S. Running 5.3 miles across mainly trail is an extreme way to address the cost of living crisis to get a free box of vegetables but at least 5 of our team of 8 got more cabbages than a Crackerjack episode.
Top of the tree, Olly Sutcliffe, came home 2nd overall but 1st U23. This was somewhat of a trend as Mark Wynne came home 1st male veteran 45 with Tom Harkin finishing 1st male veteran 50. He was closely followed by Andrew Foster in 2nd. In the V55 category John Dickinson had another solid race and finished 3rd.
Greg Callaghan won the V60 category with Mark Hudson finishing 4th behind him. Greg and Mark were that quick the photo was blurred. Pretty impressive for Mark, who had won the V60 category at the Quarry Bank trail 10k the night before!
The ever improving Chloe Leather finished 1st overall female, despite being in the U23 category, in a strong time of 36.53.
