Jack Betney
Former Sefton Harrier and the current President of the Northern Vets Jack Betney died on Tuesday March 15th. Jack was the heart and soul of the Northern Veterans and worked tirelessly for the club and he will be sorely missed. Jack had spent a lifetime in athletics and had been a member of Bolton Harriers, Sefton Harriers and Clayton-le-Moors.
His funeral will be held at the Burnley Crematorium in Rose Grove, Burnley BB11 5QD at 10:40am on Friday March 23rd, family flowers only.
Donations can be made to the Stroke Association either on the day or to Alderson and Horan at 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley BB11 5DH.
