Three Liverpool Pembroke & Sefton athletes made the journey to Sheffield to compete at the England Athletics National Indoor Championships and were unfortunate not come away with at least one medal.
Joe Milton was back to his best.His U20 400 metres event required heats and a semi-final but he was up to the challenge.Running 49.68 in his heat, he progressed to the semi-finals where he ran a PB of 48.64, before finishing 4th in the final with a time of 48.98.
Kai Finch also finished 4th in the U17M High Jump producing a season best performance of 1.95m.
At U15 level, Imogen Ayres has been consistent in her high jumping over the last year. She again cleared 1.45m to finish 8th but will
undoubtedly improve on this in the near future.
