Great to see LPS represented at the World Championships in Budapest – No prizes for guessing who is behind the flag!
About Kit Loughlin
1, 2, 3 at Ormskirk Park Run 400
LPS has a great history of supporting local Park Runs and so it was fitting that as Ormskirk celebrated its 400th event that we helped make the day special with over 20 athletes and a number of volunteers. I may be biased but it was also great to see LPS finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd […]

STOP….It’s Hammer time
Marbel Casey at just 13 years old has thrown 41:26 in the county qualifying event for English Schools. This is an amazing 4 metres more than the qualification standard. This is only the 2nd time a LPS lady has thrown over 40m. The 1st being Marbel again 10 days ago. Another person on fire is […]

Top Gun Harrison feeling the need for speed
Last weekend saw the Northern area outdoor championships at Sport City, Manchester. With spectacular lack of forethought and planning Coldplay and Elton John both decided to put gigs on that clashed with ours. To complete the travel and parking carnage Man City and Man Utd were playing the FA Cup final at Wembley; at least […]

The over the Harrock Hill mob
The Harrock Hill race series started again on wednesday with a good turn out from LP&S. Running 5.3 miles across mainly trail is an extreme way to address the cost of living crisis to get a free box of vegetables but at least 5 of our team of 8 got more cabbages than a Crackerjack […]
