Two Liverpool Pembroke Sefton athletes were at the British Universities Indoor Championships both representing Edge Hill University. Danny Higham easily qualified in his 400m heat with a time of 49.79. He went even quicker in his semi-final heat with a magnificent personal best of 48.42 to qualify for the Final. Here he was up against some very high quality athletes and a 50.11 was only good enough for 6th spot. The other Edge Hill representative was Emma Givens who did not progress beyond her 60m Hurdles heat but set a personal best time of 9.23.
