These were held at Beacon park in Skelmersdale on Tuesday 5th November. Whilst members of LPS setup the course in torrential rain, conditions changed dramatically for the athletes as they were able to run in dry, sunny conditions. A number of LPS athletes represented their schools claiming victory in 4 of the 6 age groups. There were victories in all 3 girl’s categories with Fran Price (St.Bedes) in year 7, Erin Staunton-Turner (Ormskirk) in year 8/9 and Anna Hulme (St.Bedes) in year 10/11. Ben Singleton (Tarleton)in the year 10/11 boys race was the sole male victor.
