Sadly I have to report the death of former Sefton Harriers club captain Chris Marsden on 17th September 2021 at the age of ninety.
Chris Marsden
Born and raised in West Derby Chris joined Sefton in 1952 after his national service, he was to remain with the club for over a decade and was club captain during the mid 1950s. I had the privilege of meeting Chris at his home on Queens Dive in 2018 and was enthralled by his memory of the runners in that post was area.
