Meanwhile over in Madeira ….. Mark draws a line in sand and Debbie “Dasse”stroys the field!
Another two of our super talented masters athletes, Debbie Dasse and Mark Line, jetted off for a little Winter Sun in Madeira, Portugal where they snatched 7 first places in an international Masters meet.
Yes you read that right …. 7 first places !!!
Mark Line put three new age-60 records into the LPS books for the 60m, 60mH and 200m the best of which was his short sprint in 8.12s.
Debbie Dasse, however, saved her best for the British Masters Indoor Champs where she re-wrote the age-35 marks for the 60m H, high and triple jumps, winning the latter pair; making her a double UK champion. Her 10.53m Triple Jump was only 17cm from her best mark set 20 years ago !
Incredible achievements for both 👏👏👏👏
