Rosie Johnson was invited to run in the highly prestigious Diamond League meeting in Lausanne. She was in the Under 20 1500m alongside team mate Bobby Clay. Clay simply ran a way from the field for what was described as a `clinical victory’. Her time was 4.16.88. Rosie meanwhile was in a tough battle with athletes from Norway, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium. She triumphed in a time of 4.28.67 to give GB a superb 1-2. This will boost her confidence enormously. Clearly the schedule laid out by coach, Eddie Bairstow, is reaping dividends.
