The Virgin London Marathon takes place on Sunday 24th April and the club is to receive ONE guaranteed entry for the race. If any paid up member is interested in this entry then please contact club secretary, Wally Bridson, BY 1st November. If there is more than one applicant, then a ballot will be held.

There was a get together of a group of former/active L&D athletes on the 24th September 2015 at the Cobden Vaults in Woolton. A good evening was had by all with many laughs and stories swapped.
After a couple of Park Runs in Sheffield in 17.40 and 17.59 Sammy Rashid went to Birmingham for the British Masters Track and Field Championships Over 50 10K. He ran an astonishing 34.23.88 to take the national title. He is rapidly achieving legendary status in the club`s history.
The Northern Road Relays were held in Blackpool`s Stanley Park in perfect running conditions. For Liverpool Pembroke Sefton athletes this was a big step up in competition with the flower of the North on show.
