Not much joy at Wavertree
On a cold and windy June afternoon LPS young athletes ladies struggled at Wavertree in their Premier One match. Due in part to us being short in the under 13 section we failed to cover some events which cost us. Wins were hard to find and totalled only three. Kiera Vogel won the under 17s 1500 in 5.00.4, Erin Hasall ran away with the 3000 in 11.24.8 a victory by over 21 seconds! Kerria Massey won the discus in 24.75m. This leaves the girls with an uphill struggle for the remain matches but we can pull it back.
